If you really wanna put a stop to these scam calls, check out a few comments from a bit earlier, like maybe 18 or so below this one and spilling into the last page. They explain the right steps to take. The key thing is to report them to the police like they suggest here. Sending your complaint to 7726 doesn’t actually get the police involved. And honestly, blocking the numbers won’t help much ‘cause those scammers just ring you up from a different number anyway.

Got a call from someone claiming to be NHS, asking me to verify my name and postcode. They then started questioning me about whether I’d been vaccinated or not. Bit suspicious if you ask me.

This was just another spam call. I replied with a text to 7726 - which spells out 'spam' on a phone keypad - saying: “call 01480879716“ Doing this reports it to Ofcom, the phone companies, and even the police.

This guy kept insisting he was from the NHS COVID vaccine team but then suddenly started asking about insurance and life coverage. When I asked which company he worked for, he stuck to saying NHS, even when I pressed him about it being "on behalf" of them. Then he told me someone else would ring me the next day - I told him that wasn’t necessary, but he insisted they would definitely call again. Pretty obvious scam to me, just harassing people and trying to fish for info about insurance linked to vaccine risks. Feels like they’re targeting vulnerable folks.

Got a call earlier from some guy going on about the covid jab, saying I urgently needed a booster shot. When I pushed back a bit, he went off on a really weird tangent, saying all sorts of graphic stuff that made me feel uncomfortable. I told him to take me off his list and he just shouted at me to shut up and called me some horrible names. Definitely dodgy and not someone you wanna deal with. Best to just ignore these calls, total waste of time and creepy as hell.

What a dodgy scam! I’ve blocked this number now, but seeing all the comments below, it’s clear why these scam calls just won’t stop. I guess I’ll report it like everyone says. Getting in touch with my MP sounds like a waste of time though - probably too wrapped up in their own nonsense instead of looking after the country’s economy or preventing a disaster like WW3. Still, might as well give it a go and see what comes of it.

I'm pretty sure this is a scam. If it was truly the NHS on the other end, there wouldn’t be any need for them to check if you've had your vaccine cause they’d already have all that info.

They called asking if I’d been vaccinated for COVID, but I didn’t let the convo go on for long. Every time they asked something, I just kept replying with “right, right?” It was so weird, honestly!

Got a call saying it was just a quick survey. At first they asked me about Covid and if I'd had any jabs. Then they switched to questions about mortgage and life insurance. I told them I wasn’t comfy talking about insurance but was fine with health stuff. Then they told me I was 'a daft woman' and just dropped the call on me. Honestly, that made me laugh out loud!

Gotta say, big thanks to the bloke down there warning us to always watch out before dealing with this one.
