Got a call from someone claiming to be with Blackhorse Finance. He asked for my sort code, account number, and even my debit card number to "sort out a refund," which sounded fishy right away. There’s no sensible reason to need card details just to put money back in an account. I did a bit of digging and turns out, he was definitely trying to scam me.
