Heard a bit of static like a modem or something, then they just dropped the call.

So, I got a phone call around lunchtime from someone who already had my name and address. He kept saying my Bosch washing machine warranty had expired and tried to convince me to renew it. Thing is, only my family even had that phone number, and I’ve only had it for about four months. Plus, my washing machine is well over six years old. Definitely a scam.

Some guy rang me saying he was with BT and asked me to do some things over the phone. I could tell straight off it was a scam since I don’t even have BT.
