Got a call not long ago from some bloke with a cockney accent claiming to be from the "Energy Advisory Board," telling me my loft insulation was causing condensation. I couldn’t help but laugh - how would they possibly know that? When the guy tried to reassure me with "don’t worry, we’re already aware," I shot back with a firm "no, you’re not." That’s when he just hung up. Definitely a scam. What’s even worse is they’re faking a local phone number! The area code made me think it was someone genuine. Hopefully, a proper local company doesn’t end up with that number - it’d be a nightmare!

Received a call saying it was some urgent government alert about wearing face masks outside. They told me to press ‘1’ if I wanted to get a mask. Seemed a bit dodgy to me!
