They kept calling me, using my name each time, for like two months straight. Every call was exactly the same, telling me to ring them back about some email I supposedly sent. The weird thing was the caller spoke with an American accent even though the number showed as UK. I guess its possible, but seems odd since I’ve never heard of many Americans moving here to work in call centres.

They kept ringing me for like two months straight with the same spiel, saying "call me back about the email I sent you." The weird bit is, the number showed as from York, but the voice was clearly American. Could be legit, but seems pretty dodgy to me. And they actually had my name too!
