They asked me for my bank card info, claiming it'll help stop all the annoying calls. Definitely felt dodgy to me.

I got a call from this number saying they could stop all the annoying robocalls. It sounded fishy, so I didn’t share any info. The person on the line seemed like they were just trying to see if my number was real and didn’t even know who my phone provider was. Honestly, best to just block it and not trust them.

The person on the other end acted like they already knew the name and address of someone who might have had my phone number before me. They started asking about how many spam calls I receive and then tried to sell me some kind of extended do-not-call list, asking for my credit card details to sign up. Total scam, so I blocked the number straight away.
