This number rang my elderly mum, who has Alzheimer's, even though she's on the TPS, her number's ex-directory, and BT blocks nuisance calls for her. She's also got a call blocker set up, but somehow they got past all that. We’ve warned her over and over, but because of her condition, she ended up giving them her card details. I only found out when I looked at her bank statement and saw a withdrawal of 52 euros from a French address. We've now reported it to her bank's fraud team.

I had a rather dodgy experience with a company that was peddling a solution to nuisance calls. They claimed they could put an end to these annoying interruptions, but when they started asking for my card information, I made my feelings abundantly clear-though perhaps not in the most tactful way! I firmly told them to take a hike instead of entertaining their nonsense.

Got a couple of calls today, 23/12/17. The missus answered the first time, said no thanks and hung up straight away. When they rang back, she kept them chatting for a bit before I took the phone off her. They gave a dodgy address and a different phone number, and the STD code didn’t match the one showing on caller ID. They were offering some TPS service for £29. When I asked them to take me off their calling list, the line just went dead. Bit dodgy if you ask me.

Someone pretending to offer a service to block unwanted calls tried to get my elderly mother-in-law to pay £29.99. They asked for her bank info, saying they’d send the details after payment. Luckily, I got there just in time to stop her handing over her card! What a scam.

I’m receiving roughly ten calls daily from this number. I picked up once and clearly stated that I didn't wish to be contacted anymore. However, come the following morning at 6:45, they decided to try their luck yet again. It's incredibly frustrating!

Seems like I've received a rather bothersome call, the kind that's just full of potential nuisance!

They said they were doing this with the Telephone Preference Service and wanted to charge me to stop those annoying calls. The way they spoke, with stuff like "let me assure you madam," felt off. I didn't even get a chance to hear how much they were going to charge before I ended the call.
