got a call from them today, no message left though. I’m aware Mark Bates is a legit mobility scooter insurance provider, but honestly it’s pricey and the service is pretty poor. Their cover is meant to include punctures but when i needed help with one last year, all they told me was to wrap the scooter up and send it back to the maker. completely useless! they keep ringing now that my insurance ran out as well.

blimey, this insurance lot are proper pestering folks. they keep pushing me to renew my mobility scooter cover, but their prices are way too steep. i told em when they called last (on 17th June) that i switched to SUREWISE coz they’re better priced and decent, but they just keep ringing. fed up now, so blocking them for good. honestly, that’s what they deserve for all this hassle.

this is the insurer that Mobility Giant employs when you buy a scooter from them, usually covering you for 3 months. sure, they are a legit insurance firm BUT like others have mentioned, their prices are quite steep. i recently got a policy with SUREWISE including puncture repair and it only cost me £43 for a whole year, which after looking around seemed pretty reasonable. hope this info is useful to others.

Yeh it totally seemed like they were calling about mobility scooter insurance, maybe trying to sell an extension after the manufacturer’s warranty ran out. The person who left the voicemail spoke so strangely, with a really annoying, squeaky voice that was super hard to understand - I only caught about a tenth of what she said. Not a foreign accent or anything, just rubbish diction. I doubt I’ll bother ringing them back but if they keep calling I’ll probably just block the number.
