Today, I caught an episode of "Rip Off Britain" from Monday 20th May 2019 where they warned about a scam pretending to be from BT. The fraudsters claim they need to get into your computer to stop your internet being cut off in two days. Once they're in, they can nick your bank details and private info. Not long after watching, my phone rang and I was stunned to hear this very same scam. I quickly ended the call, then rang 1471 and saw the number was 01475832745 - exactly the one the show talked about.
