Got a call showing my own area code, but it was just the usual scam about "your broadband will be disconnected". Same old rubbish really.

got a call from a prerecorded message said it was bt and they were gonna disconnect my broadband today. it told me to press 1 if i wanted to stop it or press 2 if i wanted to cancel my service. when I tried ringing the number back, all i got was silence, no one answered.
