Got a call from someone saying they were with Crypto Market Chain or something like that. They used my first name right away and asked if I was familiar with trading and if I was earning anything. Then they said they had an amazing deal for me. When I asked where they’d found my info and which financial regulator they were linked to, the woman suddenly got really rude. I just ended the call straight away. Definitely a scam.

Got a call from them today, and somehow they faked their ID as Gravesend and sneaked into my iPhone contacts without me adding it. I removed it straight away and blocked the number. Watch out for this.

They said their name was Dominic Ream, claiming to be from Cryptomarketchain (totally made up) working under Maxiflex, which apparently isn’t allowed to work in the UK anymore. Proper scammers!

I’ve been involved with bitcoin right from the beginning, so don’t get caught up in this scam - they’re only out to rob you. Here’s a tip for you: get some XMR and hold onto it for a couple of years. I’ve put in about 11 million myself and I’m hoping to see returns between 50 and 70 million.

The number itself might not be harmful, but I wouldn’t chance calling it - could end up with a hefty bill. In short, just a waste of time.

Then they started asking for a password, like my pet’s name or favourite football club, which seemed fishy. Obviously a phishing trick. I just gave them a silly password: window. Got a call about some crypto thing called DG-coins, but their site is just a dead WordPress page. When I tried asking about their ticker, they just hung up on me. Their website says the ticker's DGN, but that’s not an actual crypto anywhere. So, either they’re pretending it’s a legit project that’s already dead or they made the whole thing up to sound real. Either way, best to give it a miss.
