Got a call from someone claiming to be “Benefits UK” who already knew my name. They said they wanted me to take part in a survey. Seemed dodgy, like a telemarketer or some kinda scam so I just blocked the number straight away.

I get loads of dropped calls every day, it’s so annoying. Honestly, if my phone number wasn’t tied to my internet deal, I’d have stopped using it ages ago because of all the scam calls I keep getting. Really think the government needs to make the phone companies do more to block these rubbish calls.

Picked up the phone and could hear loads of noise in the back, then some bloke with a weird mumble said a quick word I couldn’t catch, then just hung up. Pretty sure the previous owner of this number was on some dodgy calling list.

I'm certain it’s just another dodgy telemarketing attempt or worse, a scam. I've promptly added the number to my blocked list to avoid any further hassle!
