My phone flagged this as an international number, which was odd since the area code seemed like it was from Ipswich! I let it ring through to voicemail, hoping for a message, but nope - just another spam caller with nothing to say!

We received a call from this number, but despite us asking for a response several times, there was complete silence on the other end. Eventually, the caller just cut off the line.

I picked up the phone and heard a guy speaking really quickly, sounded like he was from India or Pakistan or something. I told him in English he must have the wrong number, then he just cut the call.

I picked up and it was just dead silence, so I ended up hanging up since I had no clue who it was. Number wasn’t familiar either.

I got a call from someone saying he was Sean, part of BT's tech team. This wasn't the first time either; had a few calls like this in the past week. I really hope it was just a scam, because I told the bloke he was fibbing and ended the call straight away!
