I received a notification from Amazon stating that my Prime subscription would automatically renew for £39.99. Oddly enough, I had just cancelled that account, as I had signed up by mistake. I reached out to Amazon for clarification and they confirmed it was a scam. I've even had to call them twice this morning regarding the issue.

What a bother these scam callers are! It feels like they’re popping up everywhere lately, and they keep changing their numbers to make it even more frustrating. Something really ought to be done to put an end to them!

I received a call from a woman named Debra, who claimed to be from the BT security team. When I answered and introduced myself as Gandhi, she abruptly hung up on me. Quite rude, if you ask me!

I allowed them to mention the term "internet" before I promptly said, "cheerio!" Honestly, it's high time that the authorities took a serious look at such individuals.

Just a quick reminder folks, BT has its own telecoms service and they invariably use an 0800 number when they ring you up. You shouldn't expect a call from a regular landline number!

I didn't recognise the number, so I chose not to pick up. I have a hunch it might be one of those dodgy scam calls.

Utterly ridiculous! Just another con artist.

I received a rather aggressive voicemail from an American gent claiming to be from BT. He insisted that I press '1' straight away or else I risked facing arrest for fraud! Naturally, I didn’t take any chances—deleted the message and blocked the number without a second thought!

I received a call from this number, but since it was unfamiliar, I chose not to pick up. There was no voicemail left, which led me to believe it was probably a marketing or potential scam call. If I had the appropriate features on my phone, I’d certainly consider blocking it.

I received an automated call from this number earlier, claiming that we had an outstanding bill with BT and that immediate payment was imperative to avoid legal action. This time, I decided to let my voicemail handle it, and they simply disconnected the call.

Received yet another silent call from this number on my TPS-registered landline, and it’s only been a week! Quite frustrating, I must say.

Utterly comical, really! They were masquerading as BT, but the banter was utterly shambolic. I could make out an Asian accent while some woman in the background was bellowing directions at the poor soul on the phone! Quite the spectacle, I must say!

Just received yet another dodgy call claiming to be from BT Internet, complete with an accent that sounded Asian. I informed the lady on the line that I don’t even utilise BT services, yet she still had the audacity to assert that BT is responsible for all the internet in the UK. What a load of nonsense! I've now put them on my blocked list.

I received a call from this number earlier, and out of curiosity, I picked it up since the initial digits matched my local code. However, there was complete silence on the other end, so I decided to hang up. Quite strange, really!

I've received two calls from some dodgy numbers—one was a bloke, and the other a woman. The first one was this morning and the second just now. I've had enough of their nonsense, so they've been blocked!

I'm at a complete loss – this number certainly didn’t pass my 'silence for 2 seconds' challenge. All I could hear was a cacophony of what sounded like a factory and some indistinct foreign chatter.

I do hope BT gets their act together to tackle this nuisance. Hats off to the genuine owner of the number – dealing with that sort of bother is something no one deserves, apart from perhaps the odd fraudster!

Received a call from someone claiming to be "Sharon with British Telecom" in a distinctly Asian accent. I have to say, it doesn’t seem legitimate at all. I've blocked the number.

A caller claimed that my BT internet was hacked, but I firmly told him it wasn’t. That really set him off, and he became quite aggressive.

Take heed, folks - these con artists come in all sorts of accents, and not all of them hail from abroad. Keep your wits about you!

For several months now, we've been bombarded with calls from 01473 822882. The voice on the other end is distinctly foreign, and we’ve simply stopped answering. It seems like a bunch of scammers having a laugh. Someone really ought to track them down and put a stop to it!

Due to the incessant nuisance of telemarketing, I usually keep my landline on silent mode. However, today I decided to unmute it, thinking I might finally receive an important call. Instead, I was bombarded with three calls in quick succession—each one more abusive and clearly from scammers. It is quite astonishing how prevalent these calls have become!

What a right bunch of charlatans! A caller from Asia tried their luck with me, and when I mentioned I had neither internet nor a landline, there was nothing but radio silence as they struggled to comprehend that one! But here’s the kicker: they thought they were clever, but they actually dialled an online number that directs to my mobile. Quite the mix-up, eh?

Just had a ring from 01473822882, claiming to be from the BT Technical Department, insisting that my internet had been hacked! I let out a whistle like a referee that could rival a football match, and it was just pure chaos on the line followed by dead air! Crikey, what a load of rubbish from these chaps!

It seems like they've hijacked my number! I've reported it to my network provider. Today alone, I've fielded a staggering 124 calls, all in an effort to clarify the situation. I must say, amidst the chaos, I've encountered some genuinely lovely individuals who took the time to listen. If any of them happen to be perusing this, I truly appreciate your kind words!

Received a call from this number, but they just cut off without so much as a message. I got curious because it has the Ipswich area code, where my sister resides. Clearly, from what I've seen in the comments, it seems like yet another dodgy scam attempting to ring TPS subscribers, likely with some sneaky ulterior motive.

I received a call from a chap named Steven, and he had quite the Indian lilt in his voice, trying to pester me about my internet service. I politely declined and ended the call. It’s infuriating how these con artists keep harassing my elderly neighbour, who’s 96 and doesn’t even own a computer! It really grinds my gears. Someone ought to put an end to these lowlifes once and for all!
