Got a call on my phone claiming to be from Amazon about some fraud on my Prime account. I asked the person to verify they were really from Amazon. They gave me a code that showed up as Amazon on my caller ID. I told them I know it’s simple to fake caller IDs these days and asked them to tell me the details of my last purchase on Amazon. As soon as I said that, they just cut the call right away.

Got a call from this number, it was some recorded message about my Amazon Prime account. I checked with Amazon and they told me it’s a scam, so definitely best to report it.
