Within about 20 minutes, my bank card was charged £143 for some insurance. Then just 10 minutes later, another payment of £548 popped up at Screwfix. if you get a call from this number, its probably whatsapp trying to send you a verification code. i got curious and asked them to call me with the code, and it was from this exact number. its basically an automated lady’s voice repeating the code again and again. definitely not a scam. but id be careful if you get this call out of the blue without requesting it through the whatsapp app, since someone could be attempting to hack into your account using your number.
