I got this robo call warning me that my internet would be cut off within 24 hours. When I pressed option 1, it connected me to someone in a call centre. They told me there was some kind of issue with my account and that my broadband was going to be stopped because of fraud!

Someone rang me claiming to be from Connect, asking if I was a BT customer. They kept grilling me with loads of questions. Something about them didn’t sit right with me.

The company’s name is Connect, and they just won’t quit no matter how many times you say no. If you block one number they ring from, they just keep switching to another. They’re proper persistent and know exactly what they’re doing with the constant calls. I’d say report them on the ICO’s site - it's quick to do, only takes a couple minutes, and fingers crossed, the managing director ends up in serious trouble for their relentless pestering.

This number keeps ringing me, and whenever I pick up, the caller hangs up straight away. Quite baffling, really!

I received a call attempting to peddle business phone packages. The caller specifically requested to chat with one of our directors by name, claiming they’d had a conversation with her the previous month. However, I'm well aware that this was pure fabrication since that director doesn't even work here! Additionally, I mentioned that our number is listed with the Telephone Preference Service, a fact they insisted they had checked. It’s quite baffling! Caller identity: Unknown.
