Got a call from some company wanting to know my broadband provider. Told them I wasn’t interested and asked nicely to be removed from their calling list.

Such a nightmare. I told them to remove me from their contacts ages ago, yet they just won’t stop ringing. I even warned them last week that I’d charge £36 for admin fees next time they called - and sure enough, they phoned again today.

Had no idea who was calling, they were asking about my business partner who's been unwell for the last 5 months. I’ll have to tell him about the call. The person wouldn’t share any details about themselves either.

I’ve had quite enough of Kinex! They blatantly disregard any pleas to stop contacting me. Even if I block their number, they cleverly shift to a different one. A quick reminder: you can easily report them to the ICO in a jiffy-it’s a straightforward process and they’re definitely sidestepping GDPR rules. The managing director is Chris Earle, associated with Verastar. It’s high time these guys faced a substantial penalty or better yet, shut down for good!

We had a similar experience earlier today. We've decided not to respond to calls from numbers we don’t recognise anymore. Especially when they can't even be bothered to leave a recorded message.
