I've been getting nuisance calls from someone persistently trying to peddle BT services. It's quite irritating!

I received a call from someone purporting to be affiliated with BT, promising to reduce our bill. The whole thing was clearly dodgy since we don’t even have an account with them! When I declined to divulge our actual phone provider, their tone shifted rather sharply and they became confrontational. I’ve got a sneaking suspicion this might be part of a scam operation.
