Got a call supposedly from M&S, or something like that - the accent was so thick I barely caught it. They asked for me by name, which is pretty dodgy. There were loads of people giggling in the background and right as I answered I swear I heard someone say ‘I got a number’. I kept asking who they were, but the girl just laughed and said ‘are you deaf?’ Bit of a nightmare. After giving them a piece of my mind, the call ended abruptly. Tried blocking it but it says it’s an invalid number, so can’t get rid of them.

Got a call from someone saying they were from HMRC, threatening me with an arrest warrant over some supposed tax audit. Sounds like a total scam to me, so watch out!
