Missed a call from an unknown number; they didn’t bother to leave a voicemail.

I received a rather unsolicited call from someone purporting to be from a firm named TSS, who claimed they could reduce my TV insurance premiums. She introduced herself as “Jennifer Crow” from the engineering division of TSS. As she began to probe with her questions, I countered with some of my own, and suddenly she hung up on me. Quite frankly, it was quite discourteous and utterly unprofessional! Moreover, her approach was exceedingly intrusive and overpowering!

Had a ring from this number on 22nd Oct 2020, some bloke named Paul chatting about a TV insurance plan for 2 years at £175. He gave me an engineer's helpline, 0333 9398654. Feeling proper annoyed now, as I actually needed TV cover back then and got tricked!

I've blocked the number but they keep ringing me non-stop. It's really annoying how they just don't give up!

Just got a call from someone claiming to offer TV insurance, but it definitely sounded fishy. Feels like one of those scams to me. Watch out, folks!

Some bloke rang saying he was an engineer working for my TV insurance. He told me I needed cover for it. When I told him I thought it was a dodgy call, he got really rude and just ended the call on me. Weird behaviour, honestly.

This morning I got a call from this number, person claimed to be from some firm called TSS Electrical, talking about fixing boilers. When I mentioned we have a different insurance provider, he goes, ‘Oh yeah, we're the engineers insurers send out, and since you haven't made a claim recently, we wanna give you a better deal.’ Made no sense to me, why would an engineer ring about insurance stuff? Felt fishy so I just blocked the number straight away.

I got a call from some bloke who already had my name and where I live. He claimed he was ringing from TSS Engineering about my telly. I told him straight up that I don’t own a telly, but he kept insisting that I did. I told him again I’ve got no TV and no insurance with them, then he just cut me off.

Just like everyone else here, I got a call from TSS engineering claiming I had some kind of TV maintenance plan with them and asked if my TV gear was alright. Once I said I never signed up for anything, they cut me off straight away.

Got a call from some woman who was really pushing insurance from TSS TV, acting all high and mighty. Bet she’s been hassling loads of old people with those rubbish scam calls. Proper annoying stuff.

The number had a Ne Lincolnshire code so it might be legit, but she was wrong about us being in tier 3 - we’re actually in tier 4. I told her my telly was just three months old and then she suddenly says I can get phone support for £87. Nah, not interested!

Got a call from someone called Jennifer Crow, said she was from TSS Engineering about some TV insurance I don’t have. I’ve dealt with this kind of rubbish before so I just told her to stop talking. She said I was being rude, but honestly, I had every reason to be. Then I just hung up.

I get calls from random numbers all the time nowadays. I ended up using this site pretty often to look them up. If there's any info here, I save the number in my contacts and tag it based on the reviews. I've got quite a few marked as Dangerous or Harassing now, so I just block or ignore them when they ring again. I also keep the ones I accidentally chat to, even if they're not listed here. One of them I labelled "Ignorant Fat Cunt" just because it seemed spot on - no clue if the person’s actually fat, but the name suits them perfectly.

Got a call from some bloke claiming to be from CSS about my telly. He said they'd rung me last week and I told them to stop calling then. Tried sorting it with the TPS but they’re pretty useless, like a dog without teeth. Since our landline is through Virgin and they don’t provide any automatic call blocking, I ended up buying some Panasonic phones that let you block numbers. They’ll probably use other digits to ring but at least this one’s blocked now.

Someone rang me up asking for my husband by name. I told them he wasn’t here and asked if they wanted to leave a message. They just dropped the call right away. When I dialled that number back, all I got was a recorded "please hang up" reply.

Got a call while I was out, and my partner picked up. The lady on the phone was quite impatient asking "When will he be free?" She said her name was Samantha and claimed she was following up on a TV fault I supposedly reported - which I never did. Tried ringing the number back, but all I got was some automated message telling me to hang up.

My mum, who's elderly and has dementia, got a call from 01472 463105. They seemed to be chatting about something to do with TV - maybe insurance or a licence? The charge mentioned was £175 for two years. Mum jotted down the name Daniel Green and said it was from TSS support services.

On the 5th of November, 2020, this number 01472463105 rang my elderly mum who suffers from dementia. They seemed to chat about something to do with a TV, maybe insurance or a licence. Mum jotted down a name she heard, something like Daniel Green from TSS Support Services. They mentioned £175 for a two-year period.

Today I got a call from a woman who said her name was Sheila, claiming to be from DFS TV Engineers. She tried to convince me that their engineer could offer a cheaper insurance deal for my telly since I hadn’t claimed anything in over a year. When I mentioned I’d rather check with my current insurer first, she just ended the call right away!

Got a call from 01472463105 the other day, pretending to be social services and telling my 91-year-old neighbour her telly needed insuring to get benefits. When she was asked for her bank info, she thankfully hung up straight away. It’s left her quite shaken and confused though. I’m going to make sure to block this number for her now.

I've had loads of calls from this number. Usually I just ignore calls from numbers I don’t know, but today I thought I'd pick up, bracing myself for a robotic sales pitch. Instead, all I heard was a robotic voice saying "thank you and goodbye". Seems like a call centre ringing multiple numbers at the same time. Honestly, it's really irritating.

There was this guy with a really thick accent, and he sounded quite annoyed when I told him to speak slower and repeat himself. I just wanted to figure out who he was and tell him I wasn’t interested. I also asked him quite firmly to stop calling because I’ve been getting calls nonstop.

She called my work number and told me my TV insurance had expired, offering a "great deal" because I hadn’t made any claims. I've had my TV for ages, so I knew straight away it was a scam. Seems like everyone’s getting the same story, definitely dodgy!

Received a call from a woman who inquired if I still owned my Samsung and LG TVs and mentioned my old address. I told her I no longer live there and don’t have the TVs anymore. She thanked me quickly and ended the call. It left me feeling a bit uneasy, like something was off. I won’t be picking up calls like that again. Probably best to keep an eye on my credit report - wouldn’t want anyone getting hold of that info and using it to apply for loans or anything like that.

I got a call from a woman with a bit of a rough tone, but she seemed quite polite. She was insisting on fixing my TV after I asked about it. Problem was, I told her I haven't owned a TV for like two decades. She sounded like she was riffling through some papers, then said she’d make sure the records got sorted. Honestly, felt a bit odd.

Got a call about some TV insurance, they said it was good news since I hadn’t filed a claim yet. They knew my name, address, and mobile which was odd because I’m not insured with anyone.
