I received a recorded message featuring a posh English accent, claiming to be from my bank's security team. The message mentioned some dodgy transactions amounting to £1200 and £800, and it prompted me to either authorise or cancel these payments. I promptly decided to block the number.

Got a call from a well-spoken lady claiming to be from my bank’s security team. She never asked for my name or any details, just jumped straight to saying there were two payments amounting to £1200 and asked if I’d approved them. Definitely a scam, watch out!
