Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent, but I couldn’t make out what he was saying. Then he brought in a mate who actually spoke to me. Oddly, he called me by my son’s name - my son’s well into his 40s, married, and hasn’t lived here for over a decade! He claimed he’d received an email from my number and said he was ringing from Amazon regarding a £39 refund. When I called him out for being a scammer, he kept trying to convince me otherwise. Eventually, he ended the call telling me to “F##k off.” Lovely bloke, wasn’t he?
