Got a call earlier today from someone claiming my British Telecom internet was running slow and offered to fix it. I said I don't even use BT, so then he switched to saying he could sort out Sky or Virgin too. When I questioned why his details were off, he just ended the call. Quite suspicious to say the least!

Some bloke phoned claiming to be from BT OpenReach saying there was an issue with my line. Thing is, I hadn’t called them about any problems and everything seems fine on my end. He then asked if he could link up with my computer, which sounded a bit dodgy. I told him I wasn’t comfortable with that and quickly ended the call!
