Thankfully, when they finished urging us to buy facemasks through that phone number, it became clear what they were up to. It was supposed to sound like official government advice, but the real aim showed through.

Got a message through, sounded like an official announcement saying facemasks are now compulsory across the UK. Then it said if you want to buy one, just press 1. Seemed pretty dodgy to me!

I ignored the call since I don't know anyone in Scotland, and being retired I have no need for employment lawyers. Pretty clear it was just a cold call! Honestly, I reckon all cold calls should be classed as harassment.
