2 yearsI got a call from someone pretending to be from Microsoft, claiming my computer was being used somewhere in Florida. She wanted me to compare my computer's licence number with one she'd give me. I figured she'd soon ask me to enter a code giving her remote control over my PC. So I told her to take a hike and hung up. She rang straight back, threatening to deactivate all my software if I didn’t cooperate! I hung up once more.
