So this guy said he was from EE and had some good news about my account. He asked me to say my first name (which he already mentioned) and my last name. I went along with it (not my smartest move) and gave them both. Then I asked about the amount of my last bill and when it was paid. Received a call from someone insisting they wanted to ensure I was getting the finest offer from EE. I acknowledged them, but promptly ended the call-it was all rather peculiar, to be honest!

He claimed to be from EE, but I wasn’t buying it. He said he’d text me to prove it, but I still didn’t trust him. Then he got all rude, saying he had better things to do than waste time on me. I just said “bye”. Pretty clear it was a SCAM.
