I received a call from someone claiming to be with Life Shield Life Cover, but something felt off. The background was strangely silent-far too quiet for an actual call centre environment, unless perhaps he had a private little office, which I find unlikely. He mentioned he was conferring with his supervisor regarding my queries, yet there was no sound of anyone else in the background, and I wasn’t placed on hold whatsoever; it just went eerily quiet. I suspect there’s something dodgy afoot, so I decided to end the call before I risked sharing any of my bank details. Just a word of caution to others!
