At about half past nine this morning, I got a call where no one said a thing, not even any background sounds. I waited around 30 seconds hoping to figure out what the scam was about but in the end, I just hung up. It’s so frustrating getting calls like this; no clue how they actually earn anything from it.

Somebody called me claiming to be from the Windows tech support. I just replied with “why don’t you try finding a proper job?” and then I blocked the number straight away.

This evening around 7:27pm, I got a call from a number I didn’t recognise. Ignored it at first, then it buzzed again just a couple of minutes later. After seeing the reviews here, I decided to block the number straight away.

so apparently ive won £6000 from the glossop lottery, they just asked me to give my bank info to send the money over. seems a bit fishy to me.
