Got a call from someone saying they were Paul with Your Home - no idea who that lot are. It sounded proper dodgy, like one of those recorded messages. When I picked up, there was lag and a wee beep, so I figured it was just another one of those foreign scam calls. The code showed Glossop Derbyshire. I hung up, but caught him say the usual “Are you the homeowner?” so I answered again, just to be sure. Nothing but silence. I muttered something about it sounding like a recording and then ended the call. Job done.
