Honestly, it felt like a total scam to me. The person rang and immediately claimed it wasn’t a random call but some sort of review about our electricity usage. I wasn’t ready to share any info at all. They mentioned having data from our energy company but when I asked which one, they just went quiet. Then they abruptly said sorry and acted like they couldn’t assist me. That’s when I decided to hang up.

The person on the phone began by saying it wasn't a cold call, then went on to ask if I was the occupant of the house. That’s when I decided to end the call.

Had a bloke named Paul ring me up asking if I was the homeowner. I just ended the call straight away.

The call dropped into silence, which is pretty typical for these sorts of calls. After a bit, someone began talking, but I couldn't make out anything they said. So, I just ended the call and blocked the number.
