I received a call from someone asking if I required assistance. When I inquired about the nature of their help, they proceeded to request my bank details for verification purposes. This struck me as rather suspicious, especially since I had no previous knowledge of them. I've decided to block the number, as I consider it potentially perilous.

I’ve received three calls today from 01457 628195 – and each time there’s been nothing but silence when I answer. After having a gander at what others have shared, it seems pretty clear to me that this is just another bothersome scam attempt.

I received a voicemail from an individual purporting to be from TalkTalk, stating that my internet would be disconnected today unless I returned the call. They proceeded to provide a menu of options for me to ring back. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

I received a call unexpectedly from someone who had an Asian accent. I made it clear that I wasn't interested in any unsolicited calls and asked to be taken off their list. His attitude was rather off-putting, as if he believed he was doing me a service or something. Utterly annoying!

Picked up this number for the first time yesterday, but straight away I realised it was a sales pitch, so I quickly fobbed them off with some excuse. Since then, they've been relentless, ringing me five times already, and it's only just past midday! I thought I was safe since I'm signed up with the Telephone Preference Service. Caught wind of what others have said, so I’ve made the decision to block them.

I've been inundated with an incessant barrage of pesky calls! My phone is constantly ringing and receiving texts from a myriad of different numbers, but most annoyingly from CapQuest. Their harassment through texts and calls has become quite unbearable.

I’ve just received a similar call where I could have sworn they mentioned the BBC. The chap on the line had an accent that seemed to suggest he was of Asian descent. It felt a bit odd, so I decided to cut the conversation short and hang up.

I received a call on my mobile the other day, and the caller ID displayed a Glossop area code. I decided not to pick up but later returned the call. When I did, I didn't say a word, yet an Asian-accented woman began speaking and introduced herself as "Laura from..."—the rest was too muffled to catch, but it sounded something like BPC.
