Got a recorded call from someone saying they were from TalkTalk, telling me my internet would be disconnected today if I didnt act, then gave me a list of options to call back. Felt pretty dodgy to me.

Got a call from some guy who sounded asian outta nowhere. Told him to stop calling and take me off their list, but he acted all smug like he was doing me some kinda favour. Proper pain in the neck.

It feels like these callers are just desperate to meet their call targets, pestering people without any real care. I can’t help thinking my mobile provider might have handed over my info for a quick buck, breaking data protection laws along the way - though they’d probably just cover it up if called out. Whatever happened to straightforward, honest business and respecting when someone says no? I work in sales myself, and it’s companies that don’t properly check who they’re ringing that give the trade a bad rep. They don’t bother vetting prospects first, which just wastes everyone’s time. Honestly, the telesales manager could do with some serious training so the team could focus on people who might actually need their service. This company honestly needs to go back to basics. Maybe they don’t care about their image at all? Even if I was interested in what they offer, I wouldn’t touch it now given how careless they are.

They rang me just after midnight, like 4 minutes after.

I picked up this number yesterday and right away knew it was some sort of sales pitch, so I quickly came up with an excuse to get off the phone. Now they’ve rung me about five times already today, and it’s not even past midday yet! I’m on the telephone preference service too, which makes it even more annoying. After reading the comments here, I’ve gone ahead and blocked the number.

Got a call from 01457 597186 earlier. The person on the line had an Indian accent and I reckon it was some sort of sales call. Could barely catch what he was saying, but it seemed like he was offering broadband or something similar. All I clearly heard was something like "hello how are you today I'm calling from..." and then it just got muffled. Pretty annoying, to be honest.

My phone rang showing a number from Glossop std, I didn't pick up straight away but rang back. When I did, a woman with an Asian accent answered, "Hello sir, this is Laura from ******inaudible ***** and something like BPC." I said nothing and just blocked the number.
