I got a call today saying there was someone nearby who was supposed to check over employment contracts and handbooks. They also asked for my accountant’s name. They didn’t say who they were, so I rang back and the woman I spoke to said it all sounded really odd. I’ve done some digging and it’s clearly a scam.

A person calling from Krona tried to get my boss to go to some seminar. I told them we’re not interested and then they got quite pushy, asking to speak to someone in HR. I ended the call because they were being rude, and honestly, we have zero interest in their offer.

I received a call claiming to be from the tribunal service, stating they needed to discuss an ongoing court matter with the respondent. However, I can assure you, that’s far from the truth! It appears they’re just engaging in some telesales tactics. While they don't seem to have any ill intent, it's still quite bothersome and rather deceptive.

Some bloke from Krona rang earlier, didn’t catch his name, asking for the Director about an Employment Law thing we'd supposedly signed up for. Said it got cancelled and now we’re allowed a “one on one consultation.” My boss wouldn’t be the one to sign up for that sort of thing, that’s definitely something our HR team would handle.

Got a call from someone called Tyler claiming to be from Krona. He said an old worker of ours got some templates from Krona and now they want to have a chat about our business. The number he gave was 01455 639090 but krona.co.uk isn’t a real site as far as I can tell. Bit fishy if you ask me.

Connor Mckiernen rang up sayin he worked for some legal firm but couldn’t even tell if I was actually a client. If he really was with the company, I’d think he’d know if I was in their system. The phone number he called from wasn’t the same as the company’s official line, and when I asked about that, he just gave up and hung up on me.

Got a call from a guy named Connor Mckenonan from some place called Cornar, asking to talk to one of our directors about an ex-worker. When our director called back, he brought up a name we have no record of. He said he'd look into it, but honestly, it feels like a dodgy call to me. So, if anyone else gets a call from a company called Cornar, just watch out and don't give out any info.

Got a call from James at Croner. He said, "We run prep sessions for businesses involved in tribunal stuff." I asked if the courts told them to do it, he said, "No, we don't work with the courts. They just send us a list of businesses, and we offer these prep sessions before the hearing - they usually take about an hour and we do loads every week." Feels a bit dodgy to me. They’re fishing for info, twisting what you say. It’s not right. This sort of thing should be cracked down on.

I picked up once and told them straight my business isn’t interested, but that didn’t stop them ringing me up like 5 times a day afterwards. Croner gave me a call out of the blue pushing their "professional" services really hard. Honestly, it feels way too pushy and not at all professional. Trying to hard sell health and safety advice isn’t like flogging windows or driveway jobs. They really need to get some proper sales training instead of annoying people like this. Got a few calls from someone called Philip at a company 'Crona' or something about Employment Law and Health & Safety stuff. They kept asking to talk to the business owner. Had at least 3 calls over the past month and just brushed them off every time. The latest one was yesterday. Proper glad I checked the number online, now if they ring again I can tell them I’m gonna report them and hang up. Just wasting my time and freaking me out - as if things aren’t already stressful enough!

Connor from Croner rang our office asking to talk to a director. When we asked the reason, the person said it was about an ongoing legal issue with our company. This was really unprofessional and sounded very inflammatory, basically slandering us! When our directors phoned back, they were told the caller got our info from the Tribunal service and wanted to pitch their professional help. We already have an HR provider and wouldn't suggest anyone use Croner’s services after that pushy and dodgy approach.

Some bloke rang me claiming to be from the Employment Tribunals Service, but I didn’t buy it and checked the number out. After reading the reviews, it turns out the company is called Croner and they seem willing to say whatever just to get through to someone in charge.

Got a call from some bloke named Scott at Croner asking for our director, said he wanted to invite him to some event. Told him the director doesn’t usually take calls like that. Then he started pushing, saying the director had supposedly asked about the event himself. I told Scott the director’s actually my uncle, and i’d know if he’d asked to be invited. After that, Scott got pretty rude, asked for my name, said he’d call my uncle’s mobile instead. Never heard from him again! Can’t stand how arrogant some of these people are!
