Had a missed call from 01454547846 earlier, so I tried calling back. It played this automated message saying it was Vodafone in Yate. Eventually, a bloke picked up, sounded like he was from around here with a proper local accent. You could hear loads of traffic noise in the background, like he was right next to a busy street. He kept saying he couldn’t hear me properly, so I just hung up. The whole thing lasted about 53 seconds.

I got a call from someone claiming to be with Vodafone, but I couldn’t quite catch his name. It didn’t seem like one of those usual call centre calls. He asked me for the password linked to my Vodafone account, but I didn’t feel right giving it out, so I just hung up. The next evening, he rang back, but I didn’t pick up. This was the first time I’ve had a Vodafone call where the number had a random area code. If you decide to take the call, just be careful, or better yet, just hang up like I did.

Got a call from a local area code 01454, might be Vodafone or maybe someone pretending to be them. Pretty sure it’s either them or a scammer trying to look legit.

Watch out! I got a call from someone claiming to be from my nearby Vodafone store, trying to sell me some amazing offers. They never asked for any security info or checked my account details, which made me suspicious they wanted my bank info or something. When I said I had a poor credit record and couldn’t open an account, they just hung up. I phoned Vodafone straight away and they told me it wasn’t them calling, plus they always verify your identity and never call from local area codes. Vodafone said they're looking into it and will be reporting it to the fraud squad.
