They’ve been ringing me up a couple of times every day.

Absolutely appalling behaviour! When I picked up the phone, the caller claimed they were inquiring about a recent car crash. I told them, "I haven’t experienced any accidents, so kindly remove my number from your list." To my disbelief, she retorted, "No, I’ll just keep ringing you daily!" Such bad manners! I've now blocked that number for good measure.
