Got a call from a local looking number and i was a bit taken aback. They tried to pull the old maintenance scam, saying there was something wrong with my computer. Would’ve thought it was a local tech firm but to my knowledge there’s no such service nearby. Makes me wonder if these scammers are getting smarter by using local digits to trick people like us.
