Got a call from someone claiming to be from the electricity company, asking loads of personal info and security questions. I told them I wasn’t givin anything away since I had no clue if they were legit. They mentioned something about an issue with my property, but I just ended the call right there!

I got a ring from someone who called me by my last name. They said they were from Ecotricity and wanted me to confirm my full name before they could keep talking. I wasn’t having any of it and just ended the call. The connection was rubbish anyway, I could barely catch what they were saying. Sounds dodgy to me, especially since most bills these days are online or paid automatically. Hope this info is useful.

Today, at roughly half past ten in the morning on Thursday 26th November 2020, a young woman called me claiming there was an unpaid bill linked to my Ecotricity account. The thing is, I don’t have an active account with Ecotricity anymore and I’m fully paid up anyway. I’ve now blocked that number and plan to report it on that other website as well.

They rang me up askin for my energy account info, I said no way, then they claimed I had some debt with them. I just ended the call straight away.

The call came through but they ended it straight away, no message left or anything.

A caller claiming to be from Ecotricity asked for my name and address. There was this weird long pause that didn’t seem right at all, so I just ended the call.

I tried to find out who they were and which company they worked for, but when I asked for their details, they just hung up on me. They also wanted to know who my energy supplier was.

Got a call today from this number, which I didn't recognise at all. I've been getting loads of spam calls lately, so it's probably just another one. I've gone ahead and blocked it.
