So yesterday afternoon, I got a call from someone wanting details about a car crash I supposedly had recently. Thing is, I haven’t been in any accident at all. I pretended I did though, and when they asked for the date, I told them they should already know since they were calling about it. They must’ve caught on I was messing with them and just ended the call. Honestly, don’t pick up for random numbers you don’t know - it’s so frustrating and can be risky!

got a call from someone who said they were with “friendly advisors” (not convinced that’s a legit company) saying id been in an accident that definitely wasn’t my fault or something like that. i asked why they’d ring me when my number’s on the do not call list, and she just went “hang on, let me put you on hold”. i ended the call then, thinking they might actually switch me over to another number and try to charge me for it. watch out for this kind of thing!
