I got a call from 01566 118001, supposedly from Bestway Solutions. The woman said she was ringing from Acton, but that number is definitely a Cornwall one. She tried to tell me I’d been in an accident or something. Total scam if you ask me. I ended up wasting about 7 minutes messing her about. When I asked for their website, she gave me a URL but said the last bit weirdly, like “dot C-O dot uk” which sounded really strange. Definitely dodgy.

Got a robo-call pretending to be a genuine person. Someone called themselves 'Abbie Bryant from Bestway Solutions' and started asking about a car crash I supposedly had - never even been in one! The weird thing was, the voice was just like the one from another call I got a couple of weeks earlier, same tone but different company and name. I didn’t say a word, and then the call just dropped.
