A woman with an accent I couldn’t place said she was ringing from TSB. We’ve had bank fraud issues before, and TSB wouldn’t ring like that. My partner asked her to provide some proof she was from TSB, but she said she couldn’t unless he gave her all our bank info first. He ended the call and phoned TSB directly on the number we have, who told us no one from them had contacted us and marked it as a scam.

The first call seemed to be from TSB debt collectors, but I didn’t give them any of my info. They clearly had my phone number saved, so surely they should have had my details too? They said they needed my account number and sort code though. I told them I’d get in touch with TSB and that I didn’t want any calls like that again. This was a call from TSB collections, and it genuinely was the collections team. They sounded like they were calling from an Indian call centre. After I gave them my postcode and date of birth, I spoke to the agent who could verify quite detailed info about my account, plus other contact info like various phone numbers and emails linked to me. I reckon this number belongs to TSB, but from what I’ve dealt with, it’s usually their Offshore Collections Team ringing me up, and they rarely properly say who they are so I can be sure they’re legit. I’ve had a few chats with them, but somehow the details of what we talked about always vanish from their records. Honestly, I believe they’re real, just don’t have much faith in how they do things, so I ended up blocking the number.

AUTHENTIC - automated service ring (NO SELLING involved), transfers you to a real person when you answer - Banks do need to reach out to their clients sometimes. TSB phoned me regarding collections, sounded like it came from an Indian call centre. They requested DOB and postcode before proceeding, which is usual for banks to keep things private and follow GDPR rules by confirming some identity first. The rep was very polite and went over my accounts thoroughly, which is not something a scammer could manage.

I can't believe I’m still receiving calls from this lot! It really makes you wonder if it’s some kind of scam, doesn’t it? It’s shocking that this is still going on!

I can’t believe how persistently this number has been ringing my phone at all hours! It’s honestly infuriating. Every time I pick up, there’s silence on the other end. My husband has already made it clear he won’t be sharing any personal information, especially since his bank confirmed it’s a fraudulent call. It’s definitely a scam, so I’d advise everyone to ignore it!

Got about 5 or 6 calls this week, but no voicemail left at all. When I rang the number back, it was just a recorded message. Then today (Sunday), a lady with an Indian accent called asking for my son about his bank account. Thing is, my son hasn’t lived here for ages and doesn’t use our landline. Very odd phonecalls.

I receive calls from this number a minimum of three times daily, often as many as seven times in a single day. Despite me expressing my doubts about their authenticity as TSB and having made a trip to the branch for clarification, they persist in ringing me. Now, I’ve taken to having a bit of a laugh with it all. When they call, I respond in a completely fictional language! If they’re going to ignore my wishes, I might as well entertain myself in the process!

I've been inundated with calls from this number, as many as five or six times daily, all inquiring about my son! They've just disturbed my Saturday morning at a rather ungodly hour of 8:15 AM. I certainly let them know my feelings about it! What's more, my son doesn't even have an account with TSB. Quite absurd, if you ask me!
