I received a call on my business line earlier today, and there was a chap on the other end with a rather thick accent. He inquired if he had reached my company, and upon my confirmation, he just disconnected without a word. Quite a peculiar encounter, I must say!

I received a telephone call from someone purporting to be with British Gas on the evening of Thursday, the 12th of November, 2015, at approximately 7:05 PM. This individual claimed to represent the company, but I strongly suspected it was a SCAM call! He was unable to recall the second part of my postcode and even inquired after my name on two separate occasions. He insisted that I make a payment immediately, to which I replied with a firm “no,” explaining that my Trust Company handles all my billing. He persisted, reiterating his demand for payment, and again, I said “no.” I informed him I would reach out to my Trust the following day. He continued to press for payment there and then, but I stood my ground and ultimately hung up the phone.

Every single day, I receive calls from this number bombarding me with questions. To be honest, I struggle to decipher where they're ringing from. I've made it quite clear that I'm not comfortable sharing any personal details over the phone, especially not with strangers. I really wish they'd cease their incessant ringing. The caller tends to get rather unpleasant when I decline to respond, which leaves me no choice but to hang up. It's quite frustrating, to say the least!
