Got a call from a guy with a really thick Asian accent, and you could hear loads of noise like he was in a busy call centre or something. He said he was from BT Ofcom, claiming there was some problem with call blocking. Weirdly, he knew my full name, where I live and my phone number, which freaked me out. Then he wanted to put me through to some ‘advisor’ to sort out direct debit info. Problem is, I’m not even a BT customer. Honestly, watch out - this is definitely a scam trying to steal your info.

This number keeps ringing during my lunch break but as soon as I pick up, they just hang up straight away! Not sure if it’s actually this one or someone else though.
