Those bothersome time-wasters really know how to get under your skin! It was quite unnerving when the caller had the cheek to know both my full name and home address. They insisted I verify those details! Thankfully, my mobile flagged it as a potential scam. I've promptly blocked the number.

This is definitely a scam. They ring you up, ask for you by name and then want you to confirm your address. Once you give it, they just cut the call. Not much you can do except contacting your landline provider and requesting the number gets blocked nationwide. They’ll probably get round to it eventually but most firms drag their feet, so it can take a good while, sometimes up to a year. The best thing is to pester the CEO and top brass non-stop with emails, phone calls, and clog up their switchboards until they finally take action.
