I got a recorded call telling me I owed £79, which seemed dodgy. I hung up straight away. Then I tried phoning back at the same time the next day, but the number was blocked. Definitely a scam, as far as I'm concerned.

Got a call from someone with a recorded American accent saying they're the prime minister or something like that. Sounds like a total scam. Better to just ignore it.

Got a call claiming to be from Amazon Prime again. They never asked for the account number, and didn’t say anything about money either. The only odd bit was the bloke had an American accent, which is different from the usual English lady who rings up. Definitely another scam, as always.

I got a robo call about my Amazon Prime subscription the other day. It said press 1 to cancel or 2 if you wanted to talk to someone. I figured it was dodgy so didn’t pick up, but apparently if you do, it just sends you to some scam call centre in India. Honestly, best not to answer these at all.

Just got a ring from 01451 830297, turns out it’s linked to Number Four at Stow - Hotel & Restaurant. When I called them back, they told me their number had been compromised and suggested blocking any calls from it. Definitely best to be cautious with this one!
