I've had a fair few unsolicited calls from this number lately. They claimed to be from a debt collection agency, but the chap on the other end didn't even get my name right, so I promptly hung up the phone.

What an absolutely insufferable woman! I had no idea I’d picked up the phone, and there she was, chattering away to someone else while tossing around a few choice expletives. When she asked who I was, I innocently replied with, “Yes, speaking,” only to be met with a cackle and her retorting, “No, I mean Mr.” When I inquired about the nature of the call, she claimed to be from some "legal advice team” before promptly hanging up. Genuine or not, her complete lack of professionalism was shocking! Honestly, had I been given the opportunity, I would have happily told her exactly what I thought of her behaviour.

Loads of phone calls came through for the old owner of my house. They’d leave voicemails saying they were from Hellix and to ring back using some reference number. Sounds like it’s a debt collection agency.

I couldn’t find any reviews or reports for this number anywhere else online, so that might be a good indication. Has anyone else come across it before? I tried plugging in the number in various ways but no results popped up. Still, it seems I’m not the only one curious about it since it shows up in a few different forums. Does anyone happen to know who this caller could be? And what about the area code - any idea where it’s from?

I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with a rather disagreeable gentleman who was keen on persuading me to pursue compensation for a car crash from January 2021, a matter I had already resolved ages ago. His behaviour was quite offensive, and he became rather irate when I made it clear I wanted nothing to do with his insistence!
