Got a voicemail from this number, sounded like some automated message with an American accent. I was pretty anxious and tried calling back, but no luck getting through at all! I spent the entire day at work feeling stressed out over it. Later, I got my son to check it out and he told me it was just a scam. He showed me loads of reviews online from others who’d had calls from the exact same number, which really calmed me down. Honestly, it’s really shocking how these things happen!

Got a voicemail from this number, sounded like an automated call with an American accent. I was so anxious that I tried calling back but couldn’t get through at all, which made me even more stressed during the day! I asked my lad to check it out and he said it’s probably just a scam. He showed me loads of similar reports online from other folks who'd had calls from this number too, so that really calmed me down. Honestly, I think it’s just shocking behaviour!!!

Got a voicemail from this number the other day, it was some American sounding lady on repeat telling me to contact a “department” at HM Revenue and Customs. She said if me or my solicitor didn’t ring back, legal proceedings would begin. The bit where she said “get ready” just sounded total nonsense to me. Sounds like a proper scam, don’t bother calling, just ignore it and save yourself the hassle. Utter clowns.

Got a message left by this number, sounded like an automated American woman warning me to ring some ‘department’ at HM Revenue and Customs. Got a call from some bloke pretending to be from HMRC, claiming I owed taxes dating back to 2012 through to 2018. He told me to get a solicitor straight away and said there was an arrest warrant out for me, with the police coming to arrest me within two hours. He even read out some sort of legal statement and sounded really intimidating. I ended up reporting it to the police, who told me it was a complete scam. So yeah, just ignore these calls and don't stress about it.

My elderly mum got a call from this number earlier. It was one of those robotic American voices saying it was HMRC. She got really scared at first and then passed the phone to me.
