They keep ringing me like crazy, at least five calls every single hour. Total scam, really annoying.

At first, I got this automated call telling me to press 1 or 2 to sort out some issue. They claimed someone had hacked into our internet. Then when a person finally answered, they tried to get me to download some software that’d let them control my PC. Don’t do it! I just ended the call straight away. What made me certain it was a scam was that the caller got really impatient and rude when I kept stalling.

Got a call from someone pretending to be BT, said my internet was about to get cut off. The thing is, I don’t even use BT for my internet!

Somebody called pretending to be from BT, saying my internet was going to be cut off. The funny thing is I don't even have BT internet with them.

Got a couple of missed calls from this number today, like four times actually. Didn’t answer coz I had a feeling it was dodgy. Looks like plenty of people have figured out it’s probably some kind of scam too. Glad I trusted my gut on this one.

Got a call from this number but didn’t pick up. No idea where they got it from, I never share my number with anyone.

Got a robo-call from a woman speaking with an American accent claiming to be from BT, saying my internet would be cut off today. She told me to press 1 to fix it or 2 to cancel the service. I just ignored it and hung up because it definitely felt like a scam. This was the third time today I’d received the same call, with the same story and approach but from two different phone numbers. Funny thing is, I don’t even have BT internet.
