I got a call from a lady who started talking about a claim she supposedly had info on. I asked who she was trying to reach, and she just said she wasn’t after anyone in particular, only a number. When I questioned her further, she said it was about my claim and then started explaining what PPI was. I told her I knew what PPI meant but pointed out I had no claim and that she had no actual information, so this was clearly a cold call. She claimed to be from Black Pearl Finances and gave me a number to ring if I wanted to find out where they’d got my details. The number she left was 03333442323 - caller identified as Black Pearl Finances.

Got a call from a Pontyprydd number, and they kept saying they were from the BBC. Turns out they were just some PPI claims lot trying to trick me, using the same initials. Funny coincidence since BBC Wales is based in Pontyprydd too! Proper chancers, that lot.
