Xln telecom has some decent phone and broadband deals. I got mine at £19.95 + vat for the first year then it goes up to £26.00 + vat. Unlimited calls and actually unlimited internet, no hidden limits or anything. Worth checking out.

Had a rather dodgy encounter with a telemarketing call. The chap on the other end was incredibly secretive about his location, which struck me as quite off. Definitely felt like spam to me!

Got a call today, they asked for the business owner and said it was just a courtesy call but wouldn’t tell me their name, where they were calling from, or what it was about.

Got a call at my shop, was tied up and not in the mood for sales calls, so I just ended it. The bloke, called Scot, rings back and whinges that I hung up on him, asking if he spoke badly or was rude. I told him it’s a business, a shop with customers to serve, and I don’t want sales calls. He says it’s not sales and that he’ll call again when I’m free. Honestly, how daft do they think we are?

Got a spam call from some telecom sales lot. When I asked how they got my number, they reckoned it was from the business directory. Seems like they’re just ringing anyone and everyone on there. Told them I’ve never shown any interest in switching providers and I don’t buy stuff from spammy sales calls. Blocked the number, so long spammers!

They’ve rung me about my work number four times within an hour, and they just wouldn’t accept that I’m on VOIP and fibre broadband. I’ve blocked their number now, but I keep getting notifications every time they try to ring, so I’m curious how long they’ll keep at it.

About the review from 09/03/2017 saying 'Highly recommended' - I'd hold off on getting excited until you’ve checked the next few bills. A while back, I switched my phone provider after some annoying cold calls. Things started off fine, but then my bills kept creeping up. When I tried to switch back to BT, I ended up having to shell out £160 to get my landline physically upgraded because the previous firm had used a poor quality line.

XLN Telecoms rang me up claiming they’ve got amazing deals on business internet and phone plans. Sure, like I’m gonna go through the bother of switching just to save a bit of cash? Not worth the stress, honestly. When I got up this morning, changing my provider wasn’t on my to-do list at all. I wish these cold callers would just stop pestering me and bugger off!

Proper cheeky bloke demanding to speak to our MD like they’re old pals, using his first name and acting like he should just be put straight through! I asked him who he'd be and where he was ringing in from. He claimed to be XLN Telecoms. Left him hanging on the line for a bit, then told him the MD wouldn't be answering and asked what his name was. He hung up.

Not great, got a call from some Telecom sales person again, trying to persuade us to switch our phone line over to them (which could honestly be anyone!). They even asked for the manager of the shop next door to us? Strange.

Yet another dodgy call from a telecom sales representative attempting to coax you into switching your phone provider (could be anyone, really) - and chances are, it’ll end up costing more than they lead you to believe! The chap on the line seemed to think we were the neighbouring shop! Just another nuisance of a spam caller; if they ring you, don't hesitate to tell them to stop contacting you!

phoned our tps listed number asking for a specific staff member. when informed he no longer works here, he asked for the person responsible for broadband and telecoms. he seemed confused after being told it's another dept handling that, then suddenly the call dropped.

Upon informing them that this person no longer operates within the department, they inquired about who manages our broadband and telecoms services.
