The tricky bit is, I’ve got a phone appointment with my doctor soon, so I have to disable the block just so they can ring me. I got a call from someone saying they were with a company called SCO, supposedly calling for BT to tell me about a broadband upgrade offer. Turns out, after checking BT's website, SCO is actually a partner company (StepChange Outsourcing) working with BT. Got a call from someone saying they were from BT, but it was actually this company named Voiceflex trying to push cheaper broadband deals. Seriously, don't share your info with them. Also, if you try to ring back, be warned they charge 16p per minute if you're on a landline and a whopping 65p a minute if you're calling from a mobile. Best to just ignore them altogether.

Got a ring from someone claiming to be BT, talking about my fibre broadband plan and checking if I was on the best deal. They sent me a text with a code to confirm, which I gave them. Apparently, there was a chance to save on my broadband bill. They also brought up my mobile contract with EE and suggested I could save there too - bit strange since they knew my wife's name was on that account. Still, I decided to turn down their offer.

Got a call from this number again today. The person on the other end barely spoke any English, so I couldn't make out what they were saying. They just ended the call abruptly. Seems like a scam, so watch out!
